K3 Series and K5 Series Kind LED grow lights have low profile designs and IP65 ratings. These grow lights can be used in various ways; you can install them vertically or in between rows of plants to light unlit areas. There are two main spectral categories of Kind LED lights: vegetative and flowering lights. These broad categories provide the macro and micro spectrum of light.
Macro spectrum LED lights provide the primary spectrum of light required for vegetative or flowering growth. This spectrum comprises the blue and red bandwidths of light that are readily absorbed by plants. Plants require this spectrum of light for photosynthesis. The micro spectrum of light is required for vegetative or flowering growth. They consist of various bandwidths of light such as yellow, IR, UV, orange, and green. These bandwidths of light are required by plants in smaller proportions.
Vegetative Bar Light
These bar lights are biased on the blue end of the spectrum of light and are ideal for leafy greens and other plants that need to remain in the vegetative stage before they can begin flowering. Kind LED lights in the vegetative macro spectrum have the primary spectrum required for lush vegetative growth. On the other hand, lights with vegetative micro spectrum offer the secondary spectrum required for a more complete spectrum, especially in areas that require multiple bar lights.
